Cómo se logra el desarrollo personal
Lo primero es tener un genuino y profundo deseo de mejorar tu vida, crecer, desarrollar tu potencial. Esto será básicamente la gasolina para comenzar a crear ese cambio.
Segundo, establece un fin o propósito, es decir responder qué específicamente quieres en este momento de tu vida mejorar, cambiar, transformar o llevar a otro nivel.
En este sentido podemos decir que puedes abarcar distintas áreas, el desarrollo de tus capacidades mentales y conocimientos, también el mejorar tu mentalidad o mindset, es decir la manera en la que ves la vida o la interpretas; tus habilidades sociales o cómo te relacionas con otros; el incrementar o fortalecer tu inteligencia emocional; el desarrollo de tu bienestar y el conectar con tu área espiritual, entre otras… es enfocarte en eso que quieres mejorar o desarrollar primero.
Tercero, pero no menos importante, una vez tomas la decisión de qué quieres mejorar, existen muchos libros, artículos, capacitaciones y personas que enseñan sobre crecimiento personal. Utiliza la herramienta que tienes ahora mismo a tu favor, el internet. Mi mejor consejo, el de muchas personas también: agota tus recursos gratuitos
Te voy a dejar 7 cositas que he integrado en mi rutina y me ha funcionado ante mi desarrollo personal.
#1 Conoce sobre tu FODA:
Fortalezas, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas. La primera se refiere a todo lo que te hace fuerte, tus talentos, habilidades, dones.
Tus debilidades son tus áreas de oportunidad de mejora, aquello en lo que eres o te sientes menos competente, por decirlo de algún modo.
Tener claro esto te permite saber en qué áreas eres bueno, y en qué áreas requieres un poco mas de enfoque para mejorar. Si puedes hacerlo, ¿porque no decidir mejorar para nuestro futuro?
#2 Elige un mentor.
Elegir un mentor que tenga los resultados que TU quieres, créeme, el cambio que hará en tu vida es grande. Te resultan como guía y maestro, pero debes elegir ese, que tu sientes que conecta contigo, con tus ideales. No solo escuches tu voz.
#3 Rodéate de personas que admiras, que te suman.
Si bien es cierto, las personas tienen poder de influencia en ti; sea bueno, sea menos bueno, sea para sumarte o incluso para atrasarte. Por eso, ser cuidadosa con tu circulo es importante para ese desarrollo personal que tanto quieres.
#4 Cuida lo que piensas.

Cada mañana crea un tipo de ritual que te ayude a limpiar la casa de pensamientos pobres, negativos y pesimistas. Practica afirmaciones, mirá algún podcast que ayude con tu mañana, u otros que proveen vitaminas para la mente y el alma; invierte al menos 5 minutos en visualizar cómo quieres que sea tu día, practica la gratitud.
#5 Necesitas salir de tu zona cómoda.
Para crecer, necesitas salir de un espacio en el que ya haz llamado tu zona cómoda. Comienza a integrar cosas en tu vida, en tu diario vivir nuevas. No tiene que ser algo drástico, algo irreal, algo imposible. Con que digas hoy, ejemplo, ‘Esto nunca lo he comido, lo intentaré a ver si me gusta.’ No tiene que ser un hecho tan notable para sentirte como una ganadora, son esos detalles que quizás nunca haces por no intentar algo nuevo, esos son los que te harán salir de tu zona.
# 6 Tu única competencia la miras todos los días en el espejo mientras te cepillas los dientes.
Concéntrate en ti. En superarte. Todo lo que decidas hacer, da tu 100% y cada día pregúntate, ‘¿Como puedo mejorarlo un poco más?’ No es que no basta, es que no te conformes porque siempre puedes dar más. Digamos que quieres leer, pero no te acostumbraste a hacerlo. Una meta credible seria, leer 5 páginas al próximo día sin interrupciones. Y así, con cada actividad que quieras mejorar, intentar por primera vez, integrar en tus hábitos…
#7 Evita la queja, el papel de victima.
No es un secreto, si te quejas ahí permanecerás, en la queja. Si agradeces, eso recibirás en tu vida. Por lo tanto, comienza a trabajar esa parte que, por tantos años quizás ha estado presente en tu vida. La queja, la victima, la crítica. Cámbialo a celebrar esas pequeñas victorias que has logrado, y decir “Quizás no estoy pasando por un buen momento pero mantendré la calma y la gratitud en mi ser.” No concentres tus energías en criticar, reúnelas para que te ayuden a concentrarte en tu desarollo personal.
